Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art developed in the early 20th century by Morihei Ueshiba, often referred to as O Sensei (Great Teacher). It is a defensive martial art that focuses on using the energy of an attacker to neutralize their aggression rather than meeting force with force. The word “aikido” can be translated as “the way of harmonious spirit” or “the way of unifying life energy.”
This class will teach weapon movements and basic Aikido flow.
